We had a great stay! Close proximity to cedar point and our kids loved the amount of space in the backyard. The beds were very comfortable and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice!

We just love Dave’s place for our family vacation! A short walk to Nickel Plate Beach and not too far from Cedar Point. The house is clean with a mix of vintage and updates. There’s plenty of sleeping space for young and old alike with 2 bedrooms on the main level and 2 bedrooms upstairs. We love the large private backyard good for plenty of activities with the kids. The covered front porch was our go to place most days for coffee and breakfast, crafts, games, and conversation. Dave is a great communicator and helpful host with local suggestions. This was our 2nd year at Dave’s place, and we look forward to staying again next year!

We loved the house, and it was a great place to bring our large family. We enjoyed both the inside and outside spaces and the short walk to the beach. Everything was clean and nicely furnished.

This home was clean and so cozy!!! There were lots of things to do in home and outside of the home. Amusement parks, big chain stores, and restaurants in walking distance, with locally owned near by. We enjoyed the small quiet beach (walking distance) each day. It was nice being in a home setting and being able to bring our pup with us, rather than being stuffed in a hotel room. Also there was no animal oder, which is always a concern when pets are allowed. 5+ stars!

We enjoyed our stay very much! The house was very cozy and well equipped for the few days we stayed while attending Cedar Point . Nickel plate Beach was a nice close walk, stroller or bike ride. The restaurants on the water by the Harbor were perfect. Enjoyed eating fresh perch and walleye!! The frequent train sounds and whistle added to the charm. My two year-old grandson counted 19 trains. Basically that’s because that’s as high as he could count. Lol! We found the duck too👏🏻😊 We will return thank you!

This is a cute little home within easy walking distance to Nickel Plate Beach. The home felt larger than photos made it appear. The upstairs could use a second windows unit as it was a little warm in the evenings. However, it is priced appropriately for what it offers. The owner was very prompt to answer any questions and it was a great stay overall. We would stay here again.

We absolutely love the stay at nickel plate beach! Easy to walk there. Bikes are provided in a shared garage. Spacious home with two bedrooms upstairs and two on the main floor. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. Loved the patio area. Plenty of seating. Games, toys (kitchen set and barn), and puzzles provided. My family had an amazing time! Close to drug mart and Cornell’s for groceries. Pied piper for ice cream was delicious. Close to cedar point. Beautiful area. Great neighborhood. Nothing negative to say!

I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location was perfect—just a quick 5-minute walk to a beautiful local beach on Lake Erie, which was ideal for relaxing in the mornings and catching the sunset in the evenings. I also visited Cedar Point, and the drive there was super convenient. After a full day of rides and excitement, it was great to come back to a peaceful, comfortable space. The Airbnb itself was clean, cozy, and well-stocked with everything I needed for the weekend. The host was friendly, responsive, and made sure everything was just right. Whether you’re planning to hit the roller coasters or unwind by the lake, this is a fantastic place to stay. Highly recommend and would definitely book again!

We had a wonderful time for the weekend. The place was super clean and very well stocked. Beds were extremely comfortable. Dave was very responsive any time we had a question. Marconis Italian restaurant was walkable, and both the food and service there were excellent as well. Would recommend this place 10/10.

Third year in a row staying here! Great location for the various boat ramps to get on the lake. House was clean as always and well kept. Cant wait for next year!
